Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is in the twilight stages of his career and recent comments from his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez have now fuelled speculations regarding his retirement.
In a video captured during the Paris Fashion Week, Rodriguez was filmed saying that Ronaldo might be done with football in a couple of years.
“Cristiano one more year, then it’s over. Maybe two, I don’t know.”

The Al-Nassr forward is already 39 and he will be 41 by the time it’s 2026. Therefore it wouldn’t be surprising if he decided to draw curtains on an illustrious career.
Widely regarded as the finest footballer of the generation alongside Lionel Messi, Ronaldo has multiple achievements throughout his club and international career. Apart from the World Cup with his country, the Portuguese superstar has won almost every trophy available to him with club and country.
Ronaldo is expected to be a part of his country squad for the Euro 2024 and it remains to be seen whether he decides to hang around until the 2026 World Cup.
