Barcelona offered chance to sign Argentine forward with €12 million release clause

After his decline at Juventus, Paulo Dybala has revived his career at AS Roma. The talented Argentinian is once again proving decisive, having contributed 20 goals this season for the Giallorossi in 26 games.

Now, according to David Bernabeu Reverter of SPORT, Barcelona have been offered an opportunity to sign Dybala from Roma in the summer transfer window.

Dybala has a €12 million release clause

As mentioned earlier, Dybala has revived his career since arriving at AS Roma in 2022 and has once again made himself a valuable player.

With Barcelona now being offered his services, the Catalans are understood to be studying the possibility for the 30-year-old Argentine has an affordable €12 million release clause in his contract.

Dybala is a player with a profile that Barça have always liked and the Argentine’s priority would be to play in Spain although he has some offers from the Premier League.

The main problem is that Barça are looking for a traditional left-sided winger who can provide width on the flank. Furthermore, bringing in a player like Dybala might clash with the club’s plans for Joao Felix as well. But, for now, the option is being studied by the club.

The signing would be more than affordable and the player’s salary, which is lower now at Roma than it was at Juventus, would also be adequate for the Blaugrana’s salary limit.

It must be remembered that Barcelona had been linked with Dybala on several occasions in the past, particularly as a possible heir to club legend Lionel Messi.

While things did not go well for him in the latter stages of his spell at Juventus, Dybala is once again showing his quality at Roma.

As such, West Ham United in the Premier League are interested in the Argentine while Atletico Madrid are also keeping themselves…
