Kylian Mbappe’s brutal response when asked by fan to join Arsenal

Kylian Mbappe’s brutal response when asked by fan to join Arsenal

Arsenal’s hopes of landing Kylian Mbappe have been dealt a blow as the Frenchman has publicly rejected the idea of joining the London club.

With Mbappe expected to depart PSG this summer, Real Madrid have emerged as the most likely destination for him.

However, other clubs have shown interest in signing him as well including Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta recently expressed his admiration for Mbappe, hinting at the possibility of a move.

He said (via The Mirror):

“When there is a player of that calibre we always have to be in the conversation. But as you said it looks in a different way. Why not? If we want to be the best team, we are going to need the best talent and the best players, that is for sure.”

However, Mbappe himself has now quashed any hopes Arsenal may have had of signing him.

What did Kylian Mbappe say about Arsenal?

In a recent interaction with a Gunners supporter urging him to join Arsenal, Mbappe responded with a laugh, brutally dismissing the idea outright and citing the weather as a deterrent:

“Arsenal? There’s no way, there’s no way. It’s too cold there.”

The rejection comes amid strong indications that Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid is imminent.

It has been suggested that the deal is done and that the two clubs, PSG and Madrid, have mutually decided not to make any public announcements until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has continued to be a goalscoring sensation this season, having scored 35 goals this season already.
