Man Utd dump Liverpool, Man City beat Newcastle to set up possible rerun of all-Manchester FA Cup final

March 18 – Manchester United have been handed a dream FA Cup semi-final draw after beating Liverpool 4-3 in an Old Trafford thriller, and could face rivals Manchester City in the final for the second year running.

The FA Cup semi-finals will see Manchester United face Coventry City, while reigning champions Man City will take on Chelsea,

Wolves thought they had won it with a late strike from Hugo Bueno. Strike duo Ellis Simms and Haji Wright netted in the 97th and 100th minute for Coventry.

Capping off the weekend, Chelsea scraped past Leicester thanks to two added-time goals from Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke.

Axel Disasi’s spectacular 40-yard own-goal undid Marc Cucurella’s early opener for Chelsea, but Cole Palmer gave his side the lead entering the half.

Leicester equalised through Stephy Mavididi in the 62nd minute,…
