At this rate, the club might not get into Europe at all, and that’s unlikely to have been countenanced by owners the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF).

It’s perhaps with that in mind that Football Insider report that the club would be willing to sell £100m-rated Bruno Guimaraes to fund a summer transfer spree.
