Barcelona are staring at a pivotal summer where there will not only be a managerial change but also alterations in terms of the squad.
The club’s sporting director, Deco, has his hands full with the challenges that lie ahead, for the financial situation is not entirely favourable and there are multiple positions that need to be strengthened.
As such, the sale of at least one or two big players is a likely possibility, although the idea is not to touch the core of the team.
Offers could be studied for three players
As such, La Vanguardia reports that Barcelona are not ruling out the option of studying offers for three first-team stars in the form of Raphinha, Andreas Christensen, and to a lesser extent, Jules Kounde.
Raphinha has been a valuable player for Barça since arriving in 2022, but has seen his minutes take a hit this term due to injuries and Lamine Yamal’s breakthrough.
The 27-year-old Brazilian is attracting serious interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, who would be prepared to spend big on him, making him an enticing option to cash in for Barcelona.

Christensen has also been a reliable player for Xavi Hernandez’s side and has proven his worth even more recently by performing as a defensive midfielder.
However, the overbooking of central defenders in the squad could see him get forced out, especially with clubs in the Premier League admiring him.
As for Kounde, the report states that Frenchman’s name is also on the list, but to a lesser extent than the other two.
The versatile defender, though, is attracting interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.
So, it remains to be seen how Barcelona go about their business and whether any of the aforementioned three stars are sold come the summer transfer window.
