Considering how flat things felt at White Hart Lane once Antonio Conte had jumped ship, Ange Postecoglou has done an amazing job of getting Tottenham back into the Premier League’s top five whilst playing some of the best football seen for years.

The Australian is clearly a no-nonsense operator who knows what he wants and doesn’t appear to deal in small talk and ‘what ifs.’

His singular vision to make Spurs successful looks to have had a galvanising effect on both the players and the supporters.

The latter would be forgiven for thinking that getting the old Celtic boss in was just another Daniel Levy move to save a bit of money, however, it’s proved to be a masterstroke.
