Michael Edwards urged to ‘get it right’ as LFC warned of ‘drop off for many years to come’

Liverpool have been warned they could become England’s next big sleeping giant.

Ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s departure at the end of the season, the Reds are facing a period of major transition, including CEO of Football Michael Edwards returning to the club and being expected to appoint Feyenoord’s Arne Slot as the German’s successor.

And although every club goes through transitional periods, the inevitable changes ahead are a worry for former attacker Stan Collymore, who believes Edwards must ‘get it right’ and ‘support the new manager big time’, if the Merseyside giants are to remain a competitive force.
