Bayern Munich’s sole aim for the rest of the campaign is glory in the Champions League, but they still have Bundesliga duties to attend to between now and the end of the season.
On Saturday, they face a hugely impressive Stuttgart side who are third in the table, on the cusp of a return to the Champions League themselves.

Stuttgart’s current form
Stuttgart have been brilliant for the majority of the campaign, but they haven’t won since the middle of April and are coming off a defeat against Werder Bremen and a 2-2 draw against champions Leverkusen.
You need to look back to the 20th of January and the 1-0 loss against Bochum to find the last time Stuttgart failed to score in any competition.
Bayern’s current form
A 2-0 defeat to Dortmund and a surprise 3-2 defeat to Heidenheim ultimately saw Bayern surrender the Bundesliga to BVB, but since then Thomas Tuchel’s men have won three domestic games in a row versus Koln, Union Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Stuttgart will be without Nikolas Nartey, Josha Vagnoman, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Samuele di Benedetto due to injury, but there are hopes that Roberto Massimo could feature before the end of the season after getting close to a full recovery from a muscle issue that has seen him sidelined since January.
Kingsley Coman, Sacha Boey, Bouna Sarr and Tarek Buchmann are all missing for Bayern, while Matthijs de Ligt probably won’t be risked due to a niggling knee issue.
With the second leg against Real Madrid coming up this midweek, it is likely that Tuchel will rest some key players like Jamal Musiala, Harry Kane and Leon Goretzka.
Deniz Undav has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga this season, with 27 goal contributions to his name.

If the likes of Kane are rested, Tuchel will be relying on the experience of Joshua Kimmich to get them through this one.
