Barcelona’s recent 2-4 loss to Girona marked the third time in their last four games that they conceded three or more goals.
In these matches, the team managed a 4-2 win against Valencia but suffered a 2-3 loss to Real Madrid shortly after their disappointing exit from the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals with a 1-4 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.

This is the fourth-worst defensive record of the 21st century. Not since the 2012-2013 season, when Barcelona allowed 70 goals in 60 games, has the team performed so poorly defensively.
The team’s current record stands at 43 goals conceded with four games remaining in the league.
