Arsecast Extra Episode 583 – 06.05.2024

Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.

In this episode we look back on the 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners produced a dominant first half, but it was a late first half penalty that gave us the lead at the break. We analyse the key moments of the opening 45, from the potential red card to the missed chances to the award of the spot kick. Then we look at a second half where Leandro Trossard scored again, but was there a touch of good fortune about Bournemouth’s disallowed goal which would have made the game more uncomfortable? Declan Rice’s performance merited a goal and he got it late on, and we also answer listener questions about whether he should be used as an 8 more than a 6, potential changes to the coaching staff, the Gabriel Jesus story James wrote last week, some #ANGEOUT, and lots more.
