Former Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets, while speaking to DAZN ahead of the weekend’s Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami, shared his excitement about Xavi’s decision to remain as the coach of Barcelona.

“Yes, very happy. In the end, if both he and the club want it, I hope it comes with results, which is the most important thing,” the midfielder was quoted by Mundo Deportivo.
His remarks conveyed his optimism for the future of the team under Xavi’s guidance. He emphasized the strong relationship between the players and their coach, suggesting a promising season ahead for the Catalan side.
“This year it couldn’t be, but with a lot of optimism for next season,” he added.
It is to be noted that Busquets had the chance to play under Xavi’s coaching for nearly two years, participating in 84 matches, 77 of them as a starter.
