The latest batch of Premier League superstars that are linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this summer

With the Saudi government making it clear that they want their teams to remarkably feature in the Champions League over the next few years, it is no secret that they they are willing to shatter all financial records.

Watching European icons such as Neymar and Karim Benzema complete their own respective bank-breaking moves to the Middle East, the Premier League have also seen many of their biggest stars make the controversial switch.

With the likes of N’Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all now featuring in the Saudi Pro League, a host of Premier League stars are once again attracting plenty of blockbuster interest.

Although it might appear that Liverpool icon Mohamed Salah will be staying put at Anfield this summer, a number of English-based superstars could be tempted to cash in and join the latest batch heading to the Middle East.

Gabriel Jesus – Arsenal

With Arsenal firmly at the heart of a battle to get their hands on a first Premier League crown since 2004, many are expecting what could be another frantic summer behind the scenes in north London.

Although the likes of England international Declan Rice might have made an immediate impact after completing a £105million move from West Ham, all eyes are on who could be heading for the Emirates exit when the window reopens.

With it no secret that Mikel Arteta has a new striking superstar at the top of his summer wishlist, it has been suggested that the Gunners are already looking to cash in on Brazil international Gabriel Jesus.

Although the former Manchester City striker might have only arrived at the Emirates in July 2022 for a free in the region of £45million, Jesus has come under plenty of scrutiny.

Struggling to pin down a regular spot in Arteta’s starting XI this season and with German ace Kai Havertz impressing in a false nine role, Jesus has recorded just a quartet of Premier League goals in his 25 top-flight appearances.
