The price of Tottenham Hotspur target Morgan Gibbs-White has reportedly been revealed with the English midfielder expected to move on in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Despite their shortcomings this season, Ange Postecoglou has built the foundations of a very promising side in North London with his midfield the most prominent example of this.
The arrival of James Maddison from Leicester City rejuvenated the club, especially at the beginning of the campaign, although injury issues have somewhat quelled that flame.
However, with rumours that stars like Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg and potentially even Yves Bissouma could be moved on over the summer, it looks like rebuilding the midfield will be the Australian’s main focus.
Morgan Gibbs-White’s price revealed after Tottenham interest
Several players have already been linked with a move to North London but the most prominent link has been to Nottingham Forest’s Gibbs-White.
The English midfielder has been the one shining light for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side although they still risk relegation with only three points separating them from the drop zone with two games remaining.
According to a report from Football Insider, Nottingham Forest would be willing to let the 24-year-old leave for around £60 million, which would represent a club-record sale.
But they won’t be the only Premier League club in the race for his signature with Newcastle also heavily linked to the English star.
Forest faces off against Chelsea on Saturday evening before travelling away to Burnley in their last Premier League game of the season.
