Yankuba Minteh was on the scoresheet once again over the weekend as the Newcastle loanee netted his 10th goal of the league season for Feyenoord.
The 19-year-old has now recorded 11 goals and six assists in all competitions after his latest effort against NEC Nijmegen, where he helped his side win 3-2 in their penultimate game of the 2023/24 season.

Some Newcastle fans have suggested that he should be given a chance in the first team next season with Miguel Almiron and Jacob Murphy struggling to be a real goal threat, but recent reports suggest another loan to Feyenoord is on the cards.
The extended period over at the Dutch club certainly won’t hinder the attacker and the experience he’ll gain from playing European football for the second season in a row could be huge for his development going forwards.
Minteh signed last summer from OB Odense and was immediately sent out on loan to help him develop his game with more regular first-team minutes. Almost 12 months later, it’s proven to be a very positive spell in the Netherlands, seeing him play regularly, score goals, experience European football and two cup finals.
