The last thing that Man United need this summer is issues with landing their preferred transfer targets.
It’s certain to be a big few months for the Red Devils, not least because they’ll need to decide on whether to continue with Erik ten Hag as first-team manager, before launching themselves head first into the transfer market.

Any potential hires will surely want to understand the lay of the land in terms of the project at the club and whether it’s the Dutchman or someone else that will be leading it.
To that end, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his board need to make the swiftest of decisions once United’s season has concluded after the FA Cup Final against Man City.
Michael Olise’s agent banned for six months
Once that decision is made, the club can set about making changes to the first-team squad, and as ESPN noted at the start of May, the Old Trafford outfit are in the box seat to sign Crystal Palace’s excellent Michael Olise.
Their potential pursuit might not be all plain sailing, however.
According to The Athletic (subscription required), Olise’s agent, Glen Tweneboah, has been handed a six-month ban by the FA for misconduct whilst the player was still at Reading.
Could Michael Olise’s agent scupper Man United deal?
Though the outlet also detail that the ban won’t take effect until October 4, so well after the summer transfer window, the likes of United might not be keen to deal with an intermediary that clearly works in ways which clubs such as Man United would probably choose to rise above.
Certainly, one can’t ignore the fact that Tweneboah has the suspension hanging over him, and perhaps the deal will hinge on whether Sir Jim and those that oil the wheels in terms of deals for the club, can overlook Tweneboah’s lack of professionalism.
