Arsenal have managed to take the Premier League title race down to the final day, but everything still remains in Man City’s hands as they will be crowned champions if they defeat West Ham on Sunday.
At the moment, Pep Guardiola’s men are two points clear at the top of the table and remain huge favourites to win their fourth title in a row.
Arsenal face Everton at home in the other championship decider.
Man City current form
While Arsenal lost ground in the title race with that loss versus Aston Villa, Man City have been absolutely relentless in their pursuit of the championship as they have won eight games in a row and lost just three times in the entire campaign.
In their last five matches, they have scored no less than 17 goals.
West Ham current form
West Ham finally got back to winning ways in their last match as they defeated Luton 3-1 at home, but prior to that they went on a poor run of four games without a run and that run included a 5-0 demolition at the hands of Chelsea.
This will be David Moyes’ last game in charge of the Hammers.
Ederson is definitely out for City following a nasty collision with Cristian Romero in the win against Tottenham midweek. It was initially thought he suffered a concussion, but Guardiola revealed that his keeper has a problem with his eye socket.
Kevin De Bruyne’s fitness will be assessed before kick-off after he hurt his heel against Spurs.
As for West Ham, it’s unlikely Nayef Aguerd and Konstantinos Mavropanos will be risked after recent injuries, while Kalvin Phillips can’t play against his parent club. He’s injured, anyway.
Phil Foden was named the Football Writers’ Player of the Year last week, and deservedly so.
West Ham will do well to keep Jarrod Bowen at the club next season as it has been another impressive campaign from the winger.
Scoreline Prediction
It seems highly unlikely that Man City will surrender this opportunity to win and clinch themselves a title.
