Some Tottenham fans got what they wanted during the week as Spurs lost against Man City, thus landing a huge blow to Arsenal’s title chances.
That meant that Spurs officially failed to qualify for the Champions League, though they should finish fifth unless they suffer a huge collapse against Sheffield United, who have suffered through one of the worst Premier League seasons for a team of all time.

Whenever someone needs a win, they can count on Sheffield United to surrender the three points. That’s how bad the Blades have been this season.
They’ve lost six games in a row and have tasted victory on just three occasions in 2023/24.
Tottenham current form
Tottenham’s recent form has been terrible as although they defeated Burnley last week, they have lost five out of their last six games in the Premier League and the run of four lost in a row is the worst bit of form for 20 years.
Things aren’t too positive at the club at the moment, as Ange Postecoglou admitted following the loss against Man City that the foundations at Spurs are “fragile”.
Chris Wilder can call upon Mason Holgate and Anel Ahmedhodzic again after the former couldn’t fave his parent club and the latter was suspended.
Chris Basham, Oli McBurnie, Rhys Norrington-Davies and Max Lowe are definitely out.
For Spurs, Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Manor Solomon, Fraser Forster, Destiny Udogie, Ryan Sessegnon, Ben Davies and Timo Werner are all absent.
Vinicius Souza has been decent in a poor Sheffield United team this season.
In a season of transition, Heung min-Son remains Spurs only world-class player.
