Newcastle release 29-man squad as 6 miss post-season trip to Australia

Newcastle have revealed the 29-man squad on their way to Australia as the club prepare for two post-season friendlies Down Under.

Following Sunday’s 4-2 win at Brentford, Eddie Howe’s Mag will face Tottenham at th Melbourne Cricket Ground at 7:45pm (all times AEST) on Wednesday, 22nd May before facing the A-League All Star Men at 5:05pm on Friday, 24th May.

Here’s the full list of players on the flight – including Aussie talent Garang Kuol – while Fabian Schar (hamstring tightness), Sean Longstaff, Tino Livramento (ankle), Martin Dubravka, Anthony Gordon (ankle) miss out along with Sandro Tonali.

Goalkeepers – Mark Gillespie, Aidan Harris, Nick Pope

Defenders – Harrison Ashby, Dan Burn, Dylan Charlton, Paul Dummett, Lewis Hall, Emil Krafth, Alex Murphy, Ciaran Thompson, Kieran Trippier
