Thomas Frank makes admission about future amid Manchester United and Chelsea links

Thomas Frank admits he wants to win titles in his career amid speculation linking him with the Manchester United and Chelsea jobs.

The Brentford head coach has enjoyed life in West London since taking over the Bees in 2021 and his successes are now paying dividends with links emerging to some of the Premier League’s top clubs.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Frank is a top contender for both jobs and the 50-year-old has been very open about where he would like his future to go.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, he said: “We all have an ego.

“Mine’s not the biggest but it’s not the smallest and it’s always the ego that gets in the way of good performances and life.

“Also, I’m realistic in many ways. I’m enjoying my life here. This is probably the perfect football life, working in a good club in London, in the best league in the world with good players, we can compete.

“Do we want to win titles? Yes, that would be nice but it’s not do-or-die. I still think it’s possible to win a cup and that’s the aim, to go as far as…
