The final round of fixtures in the 2023/24 La Liga campaign sees Rayo Vallecano host Copa del Rey champions Athletic Bilbao.
Rayo head into the final day knowing they have escaped relegation as they are currently five points clear of the dropzone with a game to play.

In the seven games since the Cup victory, they have won just two matches which came versus Getafe and Sevilla.
Diego Mendez is out for the season for Rayo, while Oscar Valentin and Abdul Mumin are suspended.
As for Athletic, this will be Iker Muniain’s final game for the club as his departure for the end of the season has already been confirmed. He, alongside Oihan Sancet and Nico Williams, was out recently, though the trio should be fine to feature here.
Florian Lejeune has been a standout performer for Rayo this season.

Muniain’s season has been interrupted by injuries and he hasn’t performed to the best of his abilities, but it is the end of a big era for the player in this game.
