According to reports in Germany, Borussia Dortmund are open to selling Karim Adeyemi; a versatile winger who could tick several boxes for Newcastle United this summer.
This comes from Sky Sports in Germany, who also reveal that an unnamed Premier League club have enquired about the 22-year-old who has impressed on Dortmund’s run to the Champions League final.
Who knows if that mystery club is Newcastle, but it would make a lot of sense if Eddie Howe’s Mags were keen. It’s been reported for a few months now that we are looking to bring in a versatile forward and Adeyemi is exactly that.
The German international can play down either flank and as a striker, with him causing Lewis Hall huge problems when Dortmund beat us in the Champions League group stages last season. He has pace to burn, bags of potential and seems happy to press and work hard for the team each time I’ve watched him.
Newcastle may have other ideas, but the former RB Leipzig star could be one to watch; especially if he is set to become available this summer.
