Bruno Guimaraes has posted a message of encouragement to supporters looking ahead to a new season, and hopefully one in a black and white shirt.
With supporters looking for any hint or rumour that he could remain on Tyneside, the 26-year-old has posted a highlight reel from this season along with the caption ‘The 23/24 season is over, bring on 24/25’.

Perhaps it’s a little too optimistic given the vague message, but surely Bruno, knowing how loved he is in the North East, would not have posted something like this should he be looking for a move elsewhere.
There were always going to be questions over the Brazilian’s future if Newcastle were to miss out on Champions League football this year, but the club are adamant they do not have to sell unless his £100m release clause is triggered.
Finding an affordable replacement for someone like Bruno with both the talent he possesses and connection he has with the fans is almost impossible in today’s market.
