Newcastle United have today confirmed the appointment of Brad Miller as Chief Operating Officer continuing their bid to increase commercial revenue for the club.
It’s understood that Miller will work with the existing operations team at the club to ensure that they are providing ‘exceptional experiences’ throughout.
In terms of his previous positions, Miller had been in leadership roles at Manchester Airport where he helped to deliver the £1.3bn transformation of their terminal 2.
Speaking on the appointment, CEO Darren Eales added that the club are ‘delighted’ to welcome him to the role and are excited about what he will bring to the position.
As for Brad himself, he claimed he is ‘looking forward’ to working some development plans at the club during what is an ‘incredibly exciting time’ for Newcastle.
Here’s what Eales said:

He brings with him an outstanding track record in both operational and developmental projects, and his creative, collaborative and strategic leadership will be a huge asset to us as we continue to strive for best-in-class in all that we do.”
Here’s what Miller said:
“I am looking forward to helping Newcastle United to move forward with its ambitious, sustainable development plans and to working alongside such dedicated and passionate people. It is an incredibly exciting and unique time for everyone involved with the club.”
