June 7 – Bulgaria’s Botev Plovdiv has renewed its contract with the Italian sports equipment manufacturer Macron, a partnership that began 2022.
The Bulgarian club announced that the new contract with the Italian company “will provide Botev with significantly better conditions.”
Next season, Botev Plovdiv return to European club competition in the Europa League having qualified by winning the Bulgarian Cup.
“After the celebrations of winning the Bulgarian Cup, the 4th overall in the club’s history, Macron and Botev (Plovdiv) are pleased to announce the renewal of their partnership. The 2023/24 season was one of the most successful for Botev in recent years, after the team won the Bulgarian Cup. All of the team’s kit in this historic campaign has been produced by Macron, and the new agreement will also provide significantly better conditions for our club,” said Botev in a statement.
“We are proud that Macron was part of our historic success this season and we are happy that our partnership continues. When you are fighting at the top, every detail matters and we see that Macron shares these views of ours. We hope that the next season will be even more successful for us and we will also proudly wear the Macron logo on our jerseys,” added Alexey Kirichek, CEO of Botev.
No value was given for the deal.
Gianluca Pavanello, executive director of Macron, said: “We are glad that together we will continue the path we have drawn with Botev Plovdiv. We have built an excellent partnership based on harmonious relations. This allows us to create ever better and special sportswear.”
