Antonee Robinson’s most productive season yet at Fulham has earned him top honors for the 2023-24 campaign.
Robinson was named Fulham’s Player of the Season, the club announced Thursday. The American left back is the first fullback to win the award since Steve Finnan did so in 2002.
“Thank you so much to those who voted me as your Player of the Season,” Robinson said. “Coming off the back of a year where so many of the lads had such strong seasons and it could have been anyone, makes it that much more special for you to have picked me.
“I hope everyone has an amazing summer and, I just want to say again, thank you for all your support all year,” he added. “It’s been amazing, and I hope next year can be an even better season for myself and all of us.”
Robinson, 26, originally made the move to Fulham in 2020 and has been with the club in the English Premier League and EFL Championship. He registered seven assists in 44 combined appearances last season, totaling, 3,749 minutes of playing time.
His durability was on display as Robinson missed just two matches in all competitions.
Robinson has totaled 151 combined appearances for the Cottagers in his four seasons in London. He helped Fulham earn promotion back to the English Premier League in 2022, alongside U.S. men’s national team teammate, Tim Ream.
Fulham finished 13th in the EPL last season and will seek a better overall campaign in 2024-25.
