Newcastle United have released an in-depth interview with new signing Lloyd Kelly after the 25-year-old sealed a move to St James’ Park this afternoon.

The versatile defender has signed a five-year deal and will officially arrive on 1st July once his Bournemouth contract expires, joining on a free transfer.

Kelly also discusses his experience as a captain at Bournemouth; another valuable trait that Eddie Howe will value following his arrival.

The former Bristol City talent also reveals that he spoke to Callum Wilson and Harvey Barnes before sealing the move, with reports suggesting he turned down the likes of Juventus, Stuttgart, Spurs and West Ham to sign at St James’ Park.
