Portugal vs France – Euro 2024 Quarter-Final: How to Watch

We are being treated to a feast of football on Friday as Spain play Germany and Portugal play France in a pair of Euro 2024 quarter-final clashes.

Portugal face France at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.

Neither nation has hit top form at the tournament so far and were far from convincing in their last-16 ties. Portugal progressed on penalties against Slovenia, while France had to rely on an own-goal from Jan Vertonghan to defeat Belgium.

France have not scored a goal, via their own player, in open play at the Euros so far.

Euro 2024 coverage

The Euros are back to the traditional format of having every match played in one country after Euro 2020 which deviated from that structure as a one-off, with games being played all around Europe.

Germany will host every match.

Thankfully, for the millions of football fans in the United Kingdom, every single game in the European Championships will be on free-to-air channels, meaning it is free for all to view with no additional package charge for the likes of Sky Sports or TNT Sports.

BBC and ITV/STV have rights to all the matches.

The game will be broadcast live on BBC and the BBC iPlayer. Coverage will start at 1920 GMT, with the game kicking off at 2000 GMT.

There are a number of high-profile former players, current managers and football presenters working as pundits on the Euros over BBC and ITV.
