Images of Newcastle United’s away kit and third kit have been shared by GallowgateShots – and it’s fair to say that the majority of feedback has been hugely positive ahead of Adidas’ official release
The away kit pays homage to the 1995/96 shirt with the navy and burgundy stripes that are so iconic even today, while the design of the third kit has also gone down well, with the sleeves, Adidas logo and Sela sponsor all in green, alongside Newcastle’s badge from the ’80s. Both kits should be released within the next week or so and are sure to big hitters amongst the fanbase, just like the home strip which broke records for the number of sales last month.
After what was certainly a difficult time with Castore as the kit manufacturer, Adidas really looked to have improved things all around and hopefully these three shirts become iconic in years to come.
