In a recent development reported by journalist Javier Beltran for Diario AS, Athletic Club are standing firm on their belief that Nico Williams will remain with them for the upcoming season.
The club, represented by president Jon Uriarte, recently voiced strong opposition against the persistent scrutiny Nico faces regarding his future.

This conviction stems from the agreement signed last December, which included a slight increase in his release clause before he became free this summer.
Furthermore, Nico and his advisors have also shown their commitment to the club, providing further assurance of his continuity.
