The UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany came to an end this past Sunday with Spain standing tall as the champions after defeating England 2-1 in the finals.
Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal was one of the standout performers for La Roja on the special night in Berlin as he assisted the opening goal scored by Nico Williams.
The 17-year-old sensation enjoyed a spectacular tournament in Germany, so much so that he was named the UEFA Euro 2024 Young Player of the Tournament.
Now, UEFA has released the official Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament and Lamine Yamal features in the same, confirming the excellent run he had during the competition.

The team, chosen by UEFA’s technical observatory panel, also features Yamal’s close friend and Barcelona transfer target Nico Williams, with the Spanish duo occupying the flanks.
Another player on Barça’s agenda this summer, Dani Olmo, also makes it to the UEFA Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament, having excelled for Spain and ensuring that Pedri’s absence was not felt in the latter stages of the competition.
Title-winning midfield pairing of Rodri and Fabian Ruiz also make the cut as does former Barcelona left-back Marc Cucurella.
Jamal Musiala, William Saliba, Manuel Akanji and Kyle Walker make up the rest of the team while France’s Mike Maignan gets the nod in goal.
