This past weekend, Barcelona quartet Ferran Torres, Pedri, Fermin Lopez, and Lamine Yamal were proclaimed European champions with the Spanish national team after a hard-fought win over England.
The result was truly deserved considering the brand of football La Roja displayed throughout the event on both a personal and collective level.
Spain’s midfield mainstay, Rodri, was named the Player of the Tournament, while young Lamine Yamal took home the Young Player of the Tournament award.
Another standout player, Dani Olmo, was awarded joint top-scorer with three goals to his name. As a graduate of La Masia, he was one of several Barcelona academy stars to have struck gold on the big stage, alongside Yamal and Xavi Simons.
Speaking to the media earlier this week, the former La Masia star was asked about a possible transfer, especially after his glorious run at the Euros.
“The people who handle these matters already know what I want,” he began, admitting that the possibility was open.

“I want to be in a place where I am valued, and the fundamental thing for me is to win; I am very ambitious,” he added as a condition.
Olmo was then specifically asked if he would wait for a move to Barcelona, his former club, to which he responded,
“There are several options, and the people who handle my affairs know what I want, as I said.”
While Barcelona consider Olmo a possible target for the attacking midfield position, the club is currently focused on signing Nico Williams, utilizing all available resources.
The 26-year-old’s release clause is set at €60 million until July 20th, and Barcelona’s decision to sign the player appears largely dependent on Ilkay Gundogan’s future.
