Newcastle star responds to Howe rumours and reveals truth behind 2023/24 game time

Lewis Hall has urged Eddie Howe to stay at Newcastle amid strong interest from England, also explaining the truth behind his lack of minutes at times last season. 

When asked about Howe, revealed that all of the players are ‘desperate’ for the boss to stay and believe he’s ‘dedicated’ to the club despite the rumours.

“I speak on behalf of all the players. He’s an amazing manager and, if anything, it speaks highly of him that there’s a lot of speculation around him. It shows his quality and how much people think of him as a manager”, he said.

“Everyone is desperate for him to stay and be our manager. At the end of the day, the decision is down to him, but we’re all really happy that he’s here and we know he’s dedicated to Newcastle.”

Hall had a tough time breaking into the side at first, but the left-back has also admitted that he wasn’t at the fitness level required to play initially and has also discussed how much he’s had to work on the defensive side of his game.
