A recent report from RMC SPORT has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are making significant efforts to reach an agreement with Nico Williams.
It is said that PSG are eager to secure the talented player, but the task is proving to be quite challenging because, at present, Barcelona appear to be leading the race to sign the talented winger.
Despite PSG’s strong interest, Barcelona remains ahead.
PSG have a list which includes two Barcelona targets
It is no secret that Nico is one of the primary players PSG are targeting for the left-winger position, especially after Kylian Mbappe’s departure to Real Madrid.
The club is working hard to come to an agreement with him, but it is not an easy feat. The competition from Barcelona is fierce, as they are currently in a better position to land the player.

The report further mentioned that Luis Campos, the sporting director of PSG, has prepared a list of three players for each position.
Each player comes with three different price tags, giving PSG a wider range of options based on the club’s financial capabilities and the constraints of financial fair play regulations.
While PSG is focused on Nico, the Catalan club is confident in their position because they know that the winger has expressed a desire to play for them.
This gives Barcelona a sense of calm, even though they are aware that PSG have the financial power to potentially outbid them.
In summary, PSG are facing an uphill battle in their pursuit of Nico Williams, as Barcelona’s strong interest and the player’s own preferences threaten to derail their plans.
The French club, looking to bolster their left wing, will need to be cunning and resourceful if they hope to secure the services of this talented winger as they know only monetary benefits will not work in their favour.
