The future of Vitor Roque appears to be away from Barcelona with each passing day.
Earlier in the summer, it seemed like new coach Hansi Flick would give the Brazilian a second chance to prove himself. But his performances in training and recent friendlies have been underwhelming.
This, coupled with the capture of Dani Olmo, has led to intense speculation over the future of Vitor Roque.
Barcelona to meet Roque’s agents
According to SPORT, Barcelona are set to meet the agent of Vitor Roque in the next few days, in order to discuss the player’s future at the club.
The Catalans are not happy with the way Roque has performed in pre-season so far and, as such, he is not considered a part of Flick’s project.
Roque, therefore, is tilting more towards an exit. Barcelona’s idea is to avoid registering the player so that they can save an additional amount on the wage bill.

Barça also believe Roque is a step below other attacking options available in the team, even including new signing Pau Victor, who has made a solid impression in pre-season.
Barcelona ready to sanction sale of Roque
The report adds that Barça are open to sanctioning a permanent sale of Vitor Roque if they receive an offer that satisfies all parties involved.
The former Athletico Paranaense player was recently courted by a few clubs from the Premier League and the Serie A.
However, nothing has advanced, as far as the interest from the European clubs are concerned. The forward has received an offer from Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal, but the player is not too keen on the idea of moving to the Middle East.
A potential return to Brazil was also suggested earlier this summer, but that has been ruled out as the forward aims to continue his career at the highest level of football.
It will be interesting to see how things transpire in the coming weeks as Vitor Roque looks…
