Newcastle United have announced the signing of striker William Osula, who arrives from Sheffield United for an ‘undisclosed fee.’
The deal is believed to be an initial £10m with a further £5m in potential add-ons, with the Danish U21 international penning a long-term contract at St James’ Park.
Howe described the 21-year-old as a “talented young forward with all the attributes to be an exciting player” and reveals that the club have watched his progress closely.
Osula is delighted to sign (see quotes and announcement video below), admitting that he jumped at the chance to complete a move to the North East after hearing of our interest.
