Newcastle United have released Will Osula’s first interview at the club after his £10m (plus £5m in add-ons) move to St James’ Park was officially announced today.
In the four-minute clip (watch it in full below), the 21-year-old seems delighted to be here and didn’t hesitate to sign when he was informed of our interest. The smiley Osula also hails the “crazy” fans and reveals his excitement at working with Eddie Howe, believing the boss can help develop his game after describing the Dane as an exciting but raw talent.
Watch his interview below, where he describes himself as a “fast” striker who likes to express himself on the ball and drive at defenders in one-vs-one situations:
Osula represents Denmark at U21 level, played 21 times in the Premier League last season and came off the bench in the Blades’ 5-1 defeat on Tyneside in April.
He scored in two of his three appearances for Sheffield United over pre-season and has scored six times in five FA Cup appearances, but is yet to find the net in the English top flight.
