Bundesliga attacking star prefers move to PSG amid interest from Barcelona, Man City

Kingsley Coman has recently become a hot topic in Barcelona, especially as the club seemingly lose their hope in signing top attacking target Nico Williams.

Coman, to that end, has emerged as an ideal alternative for the Spanish international, as Barcelona look to shore up their ranks in the attacking department.

For a while, Barça’s interest in Coman was rather stationary. But that has changed lately, with the Catalan even weighing up a fresh move for the Frenchman this summer.

Coman prefers PSG move

However, a recent report from Sky Sports Germany has offered a rather grim update, as far as Barcelona’s pursuit of Coman is concerned.

The report claims the Frenchman currently prefers a move to Paris Saint-Germain, despite interest from Barcelona and Manchester City.

It must be noted that Coman was a product of PSG’s youth academy, but he left to join Juventus about a decade ago.

Now, Coman has a chance at homecoming, especially with PSG scrambling for attacking reinforcements following the exit of Kylian Mbappe.

Coman’s desire to join PSG does not bode well for Barcelona. However, it may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Coman, after all, has stagnated quite a lot at Bayern Munich over the past couple of years. His injury woes have not gotten any better either. Spending a fortune on such a player, therefore, could prove to be risky.

The Catalans, therefore, must proceed with caution, especially having been able to finally make progress on reducing the inflated wage bill.
