Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth Player Ratings

Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth played out a draw for their first game of the 24/25 season, with Bournemouth keeper Neto having a sensational game between the sticks for the Cherries.

Danilo was unfortunately stretchered off of the pitch after six minutes, with a barrier having to be erected around him on the pitch whilst what looked like a horror injury broken leg was attended to by Forest staff.

Player of the Match

Neto

As noted, Bournemouth keeper Neto had a fantastic start to his domestic season for his side, getting a 8.2 rating overall.

Whilst he will be gutted to have seen Chris Wood slot past him in the 23rd minute, his 7 saves, 3 clearances and 10 ball recoveries were enough to see his side leave with a valuable point against another potential relegation favourite.

Worst Player

Milos Kerkez

Across the full 90 minutes, Milos Kerkez was unfortunately the worst player on the pitch, getting a 6.1 rating overall.

The defender would only manage 1 interception during the match, and he struggled to produce much more beyond 7 long balls and getting a yellow card.

Honourable Mention

Chris Wood

Forest striker Chris Wood would have a strong start to his Premier League season, scoring for his side. Wood only had 1 shot during his 72 minutes on the pitch, but he made it count.

The relegation favourites will be hoping that Wood can remain as clinical in front of goal for the rest of the season, as they will find chances hard to come by in their next three matches against Wolves, Liverpool and Brighton.
