Inter Milan go crypto with Gate.io sleeve sponsorship

August 27 – Inter Milan have debuted cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io in a one-season sleeve sponsorship.

At the core of the partnership is a focus on enhancing fan experience and providing new services for the club’s global fan base.

As well as the logo on the sleeve, activation will be via content, co-branded merchandise, and unique opportunities for fans to connect both on and off the field.

Gate.io’s logo will on the sleeves of the Men’s and Women’s teams, as well as the club’s U20 teams.

Gate.io was one of the world’s earliest cryptocurrency exchanges and has diversified “to offer decentralised finance, research and analytics, venture capital investing, wallet services, startup incubation, and more. The platform currently serves more than 17 million active users worldwide,” said a company statement.

Alessandro Antonello, CEO Corporate, Inter, said: “Thanks to this new agreement, Gate.io  – which has over ten years’ experience in the sector and shares our innovative spirit – will gain extensive visibility in all the competitions that we will participate in.”

No value was given for the partnership that saw Gate.io make its home debut with a 2-0 win over Lecce at the weekend.
