The team sheets are in at the City Ground, where Eddie Howe has named a strong side to take on Nottingham Forest in tonight’s 8pm kick off:
NUFC XI: Pope – Trippier, Krafth, Burn, Hall – Tonali, Joelinton, Willock – Almiron, Isak, Barnes.
SUBS: Ruddy, Gordon, Targett, Osula, Livramento, Murphy, Kelly, Longstaff, Bruno.
Sandro Tonali starts after returning from his 10-month ban, with Kieran Trippier, Lewis Hall, Joe Willock, Harvey Barnes and Miguel Almiron also coming into a side featuring six changes from Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.
Bruno Guimaraes drops to the bench and Trippier captains the side, but Dubravka and Vlachodimos both miss out entirely after links with a potential move away.
Fabian Schar remains suspended and will also miss Sunday’s clash with Spurs, while Callum Wilson (back), Lewis Miley (foot), Sven Botman (ACL) and Jamaal Lascelles (ACL) remain out.
For the home side, Nuno has fielded a week side and made 10 changes, although he has handed a start to former Mag Elliot Anderson in midfield.
Forest XI: Miguel – Moreira, Omobamidele, Boly, Moreno – Abbott, Domínguez – Sosa, Anderson, Jota – Awoniyi.
The draw for the next round will take place at around 10:15pm on Sky Sports after the match. HOWAY THE LADS!
