Brentford managed to secure an impressive three points with their 3-1 win over Southampton in one of today’s 3pm kickoffs.
Mbeumo led the charge with a brace for the side and Wissa also found the net before Sugawara was able to get a late consolation for the visitors.

Bryan Mbeumo absolutely shone for the home side, managing to get a 9.7 rating for his contributions. Mark Flekken (7.9), Nathan Collins (7.1), Ethan Pinnock (7.3), Mikkel Damsgaard (7.3) and Yoane Wissa (7.6) were also impressive.

Southampton
The Saints struggled here, with only Yukinari Sugawara managing to get a ,more than respectable 9.1 rating following his goal in the 90+4 minute. Southampton have now not managed to get a single point in the Premier League this season, so they will need to improve in their early kickoff against Manchester United next week.

Bryan Mbeumo
Mbeumo was the focal point for Brentford’s attack and his two-goal return helped his side to the three points, a fantastic performance.
Worst Player on the Pitch
Jack Stephens
Jack Stephens was unfortunately not at the races today, and his defensive performance added to Southampton’s woes in their 3-1 defeat.
