With four games gone of the 2024/25 Spanish top-flight campaign, Hansi Flick has already got his Barcelona side singing to his tune.
The Catalans are, at this early stage, the only team with a 100 percent record in La Liga this season.
Even with some of their main players such as Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo missing through injury, Barca have enjoyed a magnificent start, playing some lovely free-flowing football with their La Masia youngsters coming to the fore.
Hansi Flick could help tempt Musiala to swap Bavaria for Catalonia
It might well be the start of something special, and Flick’s influence could extend further if Barcelona target one of his former charges at Bayern Munich and the German national team.
According to Fichajes, sources at Barcelona have indicated that president, Joan Laporta, is targeting the brilliant Jamal Musiala next summer.
At 21 years of age, Musiala is already one of the brightest young talents in the game and would arguably add a tremendous amount to Barca’s emerging new squad.
Hansi Flick could help influence Jamal Musiala to join Barcelona
Fichajes also note that his current contract at Bayern is up in the summer of 2026, so it may be an opportune time for the Catalans to make their move.
By next summer Flick will have overseen a debut season in Barcelona, and if it ends as well as it’s begun, it could be a successful campaign indeed.
Perhaps the strength of Barca’s performances under the German during the next few months will determine how easy it will be to persuade Musiala to swap Bavaria for Catalonia.

As the club ready themselves for a move back into the new Camp Nou too, the next couple of years could be fruitful for Barca indeed.
And that’ll surely go some what to banishing the memories of the Josep Maria Bartomeu years and the nadir of an 8-2 Champions League defeat against Bayern, ironically managed by Hansi Flick.
