The Premier League managers that are already fighting to keep hold of their jobs

While the 2024/25 campaign might have only got underway last month, some Premier League bosses from up and down to county already find some mounting pressure on their shoulders.

With England’s elite making their return this weekend following on from September’s international break, a handful of Premier League clubs are seeking a much-needed early boost.

Although we might only be three games into the new campaign, we have taken a look at the three Premier League bosses that are already fighting to keep hold of their respective jobs.

Erik ten Hag – Manchester United

While Manchester United might have shockingly made the decision to stick with Erik ten Hag over the summer, the former Ajax boss already has a huge amount of pressure on his shoulders at Old Trafford.

Although the Red Devils might have got their hands on a 13th FA Cup crown back on May 25th as they secured a sensational 2-1 victory against bitter local rivals Manchester City at Wembley, United broke a string of unwanted records last season.

Eventually limping their way to an eighth-place finish and still a million miles away from mounting any kind of title charge, ten Hag’s side have once again shown a string of glaring issues this time around.

Heading into September’s international break with an infamous 3-0 drumming at home against historic arch-rivals Liverpool, the Dutch tactician has seen his squad lose two of their opening three Premier League appearances.

Marking their return from the fortnight interval scrapping it out in the bottom-half of the table and facing a huge uphill battle in the race to book a lucrative Champions League return, there are large sections of the Old Trafford support that are still desperate for a change in the dugout.

Sean Dyche – Everton

While Everton might have mounted a late flurry last season as they managed to keep hold of their Premier League status, the Blues have opened the new campaign in the midst of a public nightmare.
