The NUFC Blogcast is back, as I look back at a positive international break for Newcastle United, Paul Mitchell’s big interview and preview Sunday’s trip to Wolves (Listen here or press play below)
With Ed away, it’s just me on this episode as I start by running through how each of our internationals got on over a productive break for many of our players, with Isak on form, Tonali impressing, Gordon getting a much-needed boost and a few of our youngsters getting amongst the goals.
After discussing some of the key takeaways from Mitchell’s interview, updates on Kieran Trippier’s future, our poll of the week and a few Twitter questions, I preview Sunday’s trip to Wolves, discussing the latest injury news, Wolves’ recent form and why it could be a perfect time to go to Molineux.
As ever in our preview pods, I then discuss my predicted line-ups and four selection headaches facing Eddie Howe going into the game, with Schar back from a ban and a certain £55m Italian available for selection.
