The team sheets are in at Molineux, where Newcastle United take on Wolves in today’s 4.30pm kick-off. Here’s the side Eddie Howe has gone with:
STARTING XI: Pope – Livramento, Schar, Burn, Kelly – Longstaff, Bruno, Joelinton – Murphy, Isak, Gordon.
SUBS: Dubravka, Trippier, Kelly, Krafth, Tonali, Willock, Barnes, Almiron, Osula
Fabian Schar returns to the side following a three-game ban and Lewis Hall replaces Lloyd Kelly at left-back, but Sean Longstaff is favored over Sandro Tonali, who starts on the bench.
Harvey Barnes also drops out of the side, seeing Jacob Murphy come in down the right-hand side, while Joe Willock returns to the squad after overcoming a thigh issue.
Callum Wilson still isn’t fit – Howe revealed on Friday that he’s still a little bit behind where expected to to be at this stage – and Lewis Miley (foot), Sven Botman (ACL) and Jamaal Lascelles (ACL) remain out.
Wolves XI: Johnstone, Semedo, Mosquera, Dawson, Ait-Nouri, Lemina, André, Joao Gomes, Bellegarde, Cunha, Strand Larsen.
After five draws and a defeat in our six trip to Molineux since they earned promotion back to the Premier League, let’s hope we can keep our unbeaten start to 2024/25 going and come away with a rare win in the Black Country. HWTL!
