Before the Barcelona players returned home to rest after their North American journey, Flick gathered everyone in the gym. He divided the group into two: one comprised of the players and the other of his support staff.
Flick then addressed the players, saying, “I want an applause for the staff because, thanks to them, the tour was a success, and you are who you are because of their efforts.”
Following his speech, the players applauded the staff, who received the recognition with heartfelt gratitude. This atmosphere of unity and camaraderie marked the end of their day.
