Hoops face huge task in Germany

Celtic will look to make it two wins in a row in the Champions League on Tuesday when they face Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

It is obviously a huge ask for the Scottish champions to topple last season’s Champions League finalists as they have a shocking record away from home in the competition, but they come into the match in stupendous form.

Dortmund’s form under new head coach Nuri Sahin has been up and down as they went unbeaten in their first five games of the season across the German Cup, Champions League and Bundesliga.

Things came crashing down for BVB last weekend when they suffered a shock 5-1 away loss at Stuttgart.

They looked to be heading for another loss at the weekend, but showed resilience to come back and beat Bochum 4-2 after going behind.

Celtic Recent Form

Celtic are one of the most in-form teams in Europe currently as they have won all eight of their matches across all competitions so far.

They have defeated Kilmarnock, Hibernian, St Mirren, Rangers, Hearts and St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership, while Hibs and Falkirk have been swept aside in the League Cup.

On Champions League Matchday One, they secured their biggest-ever win in the competition, beating Slovan Bratislava 5-1 at Celtic Park.
