Stade Pierre-Mauroy will host its first-ever Champions League clash between Lille and Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
While reigning champions Real Madrid have already secured a victory against Stuttgart in their opening UCL game, Lille suffered a loss to Sporting Lisbon.

Lille has had a difficult start to their Champions League campaign, having lost their opening game to Sporting Lisbon. Their recent form in all competitions has been shaky, managing just one win in their last six games.

Real’s dominant form, however, remains strong, with four wins in their last five games in all competitions.

For Lille, Hakon Arnar Haraldsson is ruled out with a foot injury, and Angel Gomes will miss the game due to suspension after receiving a red card against Sporting Lisbon.
In addition, Ismaily, Samuel Umtiti, and Nabil Bentaleb are sidelined with injuries or illness.
