Foot & Soccer Soccer Match Reports, Football NewsOctober 2 – UEFA has launched ticket sales for Women’s EURO 2025 to be played July 2-17 across eight host cities in Switzerland.
The launch event took place at the iconic Jungfraujoch in the Bernese Alps, 3,454m above sea level. The Swiss have taglined the tournament the ‘Summit of emotions’.
In total there are about 720,000 tickets for the tournament with general public sales starting yesterday via www.womenseuro.com/tickets. More than 250,000 tickets for all 31 matches will be sold in the first ticket release on a first come, first served basis.
Fans can purchase up to ten tickets per match from CHF25 for category 2 tickets. Category 1 tickets cost CHF40 for the group stage and quarter finals, rising to CHF for the semi-finals and CHF90 for the final.
UEFA is holding back 120,000 for sale to supporters of the 16 participating national teams. These will be released following the December 16 draw at the Swiss Tech Convention Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Nadine Kessler, UEFA managing director of women’s football, said: “UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 will be another signpost that women’s football is on an unstoppable path. Our world-class players and teams will be centre stage for the most watched, most competitive and the most attended Women’s EURO ever. Our goal is to sell all 720,000 tickets and we want fans from Switzerland, Europe and beyond to join us as we make history next summer.”
Ticket holders travelling within Switzerland will have free public transport. Their tickets will be valid on matchday for a second-class round trip between any Swiss locality and the match venue.
